TTENDER NOTICE PAR/FAD/V/06/10

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) offers for sale on “As is Where is” basis the following vehicles

Interested parties may inspect the above vehicles and obtain, free of cost, a complete pre-numbered prescribed Bid Forms, between 0900 hours and 1200 hours Mondays thru Fridays from July 26 to August 04, 2010 at Parco's Pumping Station PS-1, Korangi Creek Road Korangi, Karachi.

Sealed bids on prescribed pre-numbered Bid Form addressed to the Managing Director, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited, duly supported by a copy of CNIC and a Bid Bond in an amount equal to 10% (ten percent) of Bid value in shape of Pay Order/ Demand Draft in favour of Pak-Arab Refinery Limited must be deposited in the Tender Box placed for the purpose in the Ground Floor lobby of Corporate Headquarters, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited, Korangi Creek Road, Korangi, Karachi.  Alternatively such covers may be forwarded directly by mail/courier service. Bids will be received upto 1500 hours on August 10, 2010 and opened at 1515 hours the same day in the presence of bidders or their representative. Bids submitted without Bid Bond shall not be accepted.  PARCO does not accept any responsibility for bids detained/delayed in transit by mail or otherwise. Bid to remain valid for 60 days from date of bid opening. Bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders/rejected bids will be returned after 2 weeks. Bid Bonds of first and second highest bidders will be returned till validity.

SALE OF UNSERVICEABLE, OBSOLETE AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS

TENDER NOTICE PAR/FAD/04/10 PS-1

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) Karachi offers for sale against sealed bids on “As is where is basis” the following Unserviceable, Obsolete and Miscellaneous items in lots at Korangi Warehouse, PARCO’s Pumping Station PS-1, Korangi Creek Road, Korangi, Karachi.  Details of lots are as follows:

Air Conditioners, Photocopiers, Printers and Computers, UPS, Cooking Ranges, Geysers and Air Coolers, Wooden Furniture & Scrap, Tyres, Batteries, Empty Drums & Cans, Chairs, Transport/Vehicle Spare, Miscellaneous Scrap, Welding Plant, Mobile Phones, Refrigerators & Deep Freezers, Electrical Spares, Instrumentation Spares, Mechanical Spares, Telecom Spares, and Miscellaneous Spares.

Interested parties may inspect the lots at the above location between 1000 and 1500 hours Mondays through Fridays from  July 12, 2010 to July 22, 2010 and may obtain Tender Documents on written request alongwith copy of CNIC and cash payment of Rs.300/= each set (non-refundable).

Sealed bids on prescribed and pre-numbered original forms addressed to the Managing Director, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited duly supported by a bid bond in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order in favour of Pak-Arab Refinery Limited in an amount equal to 5% (five per cent) of the value of the bid must be deposited in the Tender Box placed in the ground floor lobby of PARCO’s Corporate Headquarters, Korangi Creek Road, Korangi, Karachi upto 1500 hours on July 27, 2010.  The bids shall be opened publicly the same day at 1530 hours in the presence of bidders or their representative who wish to attend.  Bids must remain valid for 60 days from the date of bid opening.  Successful bidders shall have to pay Government Taxes (if any) on offered price.

Interested parties may inspect the above vehicles and obtain, free of cost, a complete pre-numbered prescribed Bid Form, between 0900 hours and 1200 hours Mondays thru Fridays from July 02 to July 09, 2010 at PARCO’s Pumping Station PS-1, Korangi Creek Road Korangi Karachi.

Sealed bids on prescribed pre-numbered Bid Form addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Pak-Arab Pipeline Company Limited, duly supported by a copy of CNIC and a Bid Bond in an amount equal to 10% (Ten Percent) of Bid value in shape of Pay Order/ Demand Draft in favour of Pak-Arab Pipeline Company Limited must be deposited in the Tender Box placed for the purpose in the Ground Floor lobby of Corporate Headquarters, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited, Korangi Creek Road, Korangi, Karachi. SALE OF SULPHUR

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) would like to offer Sulphur from its Mid-Country Refinery (MCR) at Mahmood Kot (District Muzaffargarh).

The quantity being offered is 4,500 M.Tons (+/- 10%) from April to June, 2010 at a minimum reserve base price of Rs. 20,500/M.Ton (excluding GST & Special Excise Duty) ex-Delivery Point at MCR. Bidder(s) could bid for minimum of 300 M.Tons and maximum of 1,000 M.Tons lot size. The Sulphur desired by the bidder(s), fulfilling all other requirements would be allocated to the highest bidder(s). The remaining quantity will be offered to the next highest bidder(s) provided they match the highest bid price. Interested parties, having necessary resources, are invited to submit bids along with 05% of the bid amount as Bid Bond in the form of a Bank Guarantee (from a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan) or Pay Order/Demand Draft. The price bids must be quoted in Rupees/M.Ton, for lifting from MCR’s designated storage area. Bids complete in all respects and supported by necessary documents should be addressed to:
